Community-Based Efforts

Since 2007, Jeffrey Tom, MD has been writing a monthly medical column for Kapolei Middle School's newsletter based on either the school's health curriculum or current events.  In addition, Dr. Tom and his staff from Waianae Coast Comprehensive Health Center's satellite clinic in Kapolei have participated in Kapolei School's Fall and Spring fair (a collaboration of six Department Of Education schools) as a community outreach event.  We offer blood pressure screenings, medical disease education, and insurance coverage information to children (elementary through high school) and their parents.
